A Missed Period
If you think you might be pregnant, the first thing that you will probably notice is a missed or “late” period. If your period is usually regular, it can be alarming to be a few days late. Although pregnancy tests often state on the box that you an test days before your missed period, it’s best to take the test 3-4 days after your missed period.
Also called “morning sickness“, the nausea of early pregnancy can happen at any time of the day and in any amount of severity. Maybe foods don’t taste as good, or you just don’t feel like eating. You may even feel as if you have the flu, but it doesn’t go away.
Feeling tired all the time could signal that your body is working hard to sustain a new life. If you suddenly feel more tired than usual, it could be another sign that you are pregnant.
Breast tenderness, changes in the size and color of your areola, and breast that look and feel larger than normal; These are all early signs of pregnancy that are caused by hormonal changes.
If you are pregnant, the new weight and growth in your uterus could place pressure on your bladder, causing you to urinate more frequently or feel as if you always have a full bladder. Of course, this could also be a sign of bladder infection, so if this symptom does not improve, you should speak with your care provider.
