These popsicles are creamy and sweet, the perfect treat in the middle of the day. What kid doesn’t like popsicles? These are a fun way to get in a serving of fruit and dairy, and they are healthier (and just as satisfying) as ice cream.
My favorite yogurt to use with this recipe is natural greek strawberry yogurt. You can also substitute the strawberries and yogurt with another fruit and flavor of yogurt.
Ingredients
1 1/4 cups strawberries, trimmed and sliced, divided.
1 8oz container natural (or organic) strawberry yogurt
4 small paper cups
4 lollipop sticks
Instructions
- In a blender, puree 1 cup strawberries and the yogurt. Stir in the remaining strawberries (do not blend). Divide the mixture evenly into the paper cups and put a lollipop stick into the center of each cup. Freeze for approximately 4 hours.
