This recipe comes from a friend of mine. He recently had surgery and is on a very restricted diet. He made up this smoothie of things he could eat and it turned out amazing. It’s got all kinds of goodies including fruits, veggies, yogurt, and natural sweeteners.
1 Cup Milk
2 Baby Carrots
1 Tbs Organic Peanut Butter
1 Tbs Grape Nuts
1 Tbs wheat germ
2 Tsp maple syrup
1 Cup Strawberry Yogurt
1/2 Cup Raisins
- Put all ingredients in a blender and blend well.
This smoothie would make a great pick-me-up in the afternoon.
