This brownie recipe has been adapted to suit a more whole foods diet. It uses all whole wheat flour and you have the option of replacing all of the white sugar with natural sugars.
Just in case you were wondering, I’ve added more milk to the recipe, so the whole wheat flour doesn’t make them “dry”.

Ingredients 1 cup butter
1 cup honey
1 cup sugar (or another 3/4 cup honey or other sweetener)
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 eggs
1/4 cup milk
3/4 cup cocoa
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1 cup chopped nuts or sunflower kernels (optional) Instructions
