Fresh and Chunky Guacamole

Are you ready for a fresh spin on guacamole?

I love guacamole, but usually make it with salsa and other canned or packaged extras. This is a great new way to make guacamole with all fresh, raw ingredients. It has a delightfully “light” taste that is great for summertime.

Fresh and Chunky Guacamole

Ingredients

3 ripe avocados

1 small red onion, diced

2 small tomatoes, diced

Juice of 1 lemon/lime

1 tsp fresh cilantro, chopped

salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut open the avocados and remove the flesh. Chop to desired size (mashing is optional if you do not like large chunks of avocado.)
  2. Add all other ingredients and mix until well blended.
  3. Chill and serve with tortilla chips, carrots, etc.
