What are the main health benefits of drinking alkaline water?


Alkaline water can help to detoxify your body by removing acidic waste and toxins that accumulate on a daily basis. Acid wastes collected in the body can lead to serious health conditions, like gout, kidney problems and diabetes.

Drinking alkaline water can help neutralize the acidity that builds up in the body and push acid waste products out of the cells and tissues.


Hydration is necessary to maintain or regain optimum health. Alkaline water is more easily absorbed at the cellular levels thus amplifying hydration in your body.

Alkaline water is rich in important alkaline minerals such as potassium, sodium, calcium and magnesium and it’s super-hydrating and energizing as a result.

Ionized alkaline water is filtered and ionized, removing the harmful contaminants and leaving beneficial minerals behind.

Oxygenation / Antioxidants

Alkaline water with a high pH can act as an antioxidant and can neutralize and block free-radicals that damage the body.

The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) reported that alkaline water can serve as a therapeutic antioxidant and can suppress brain injuries by buffering the effects of oxidative stress and inhibit gastric injuries.

The primary key to alkaline water is its highly beneficial mineral content, such as potassium and sodium, which are important with many health issues and cellular health. These are the strongest alkaline ions that yield the highest benefit in most cases.
